Attorney Mark J. Brandenburger

Strategic Legal Representation for Individuals Suffering Severe Workplace or Personal Injuries

Mark J. Brandenburger began his legal career while in law school working as a law clerk at a world class paint and coatings company.  He then gained experience working as a law clerk at a personal injury and civil litigation law firm in Minneapolis.  While in law school, he also participated in moot court, was an Editor of the William Mitchell Journal of Law & Practice, Co-President of William Mitchell Eelpout Hockey, and argued a case at the Minnesota Court of Appeals as a student certified attorney.

In 2010, Mark graduated with honors, cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law and passed the bar exam.  Since that time, he has focused his practice on workers’ compensation, and also personal injury cases (including automobile accidents, wrongful death, medical malpractice, premises liability, dog attacks, and other disabling and catastrophic injuries).

Mark serves as an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, and regularly appears in Workers’ Compensation Courts and District Courts throughout Minnesota.  He has litigated and presented oral argument at the Minnesota Court of Appeals and the Minnesota Supreme Court.  Mark’s Minnesota Supreme Court experience includes his oral argument and presentation obtaining a favorable reversal at the Supreme Court in the landmark case Senogles v. Carlson, 902 N.W.2d 38 (2017).  Senogles has been cited in numerous cases as legal precedent clarifying the law with respect to landowner/social host responsibility, with a special respect to child safety.

Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and family.  He likes to spend time grilling, fishing, boating, reading, running, playing hockey, and racquetball.
